The ultimate Lakeland hill farm Quad Trek
We have three different grades of trek available depending on age.
Adult Escorted Quad Bike Treks
360cc Kawasaki machines, minimum age 16 years.
Once you have been kitted out with overalls and a helmet you will be briefed by a LANTRA qualified instructor on how to operate the quad safely for maximum enjoyment. The trek will explore our Lakeland hill farm. You will start off on flat ground to build up confidence and progress over undulating ground, down steep banks and river crossings depending on the duration booked and the skill of the riders.
Our Twenty minute sessions are ideal for first timers as a taster session, a chance to experience off road driving to see if it is for you. Forty minute sessions are great fun for those who feel confident and want to try some banks, hill and river crossings. Lastly for those that enjoy a challenge and are confident riders why not choose an hour session.
Midi Quads
80cc machines, 12 - 15 years.
These junior quads are great fun and are normally taken out separately to the adult treks. Adults can join their children on an adult bike if they prefer. Can be taken as twenty or forty minute sessions.
Mini Quads
50cc machines, 6-11 years.
These smaller quads give younger children a chance to experience off road driving. At 6yrs old though, unless they are big for their age the children will physically struggle so please bear that in mind. If you would like to discuss the suitability of the mini quad driving for 6 & 7yr olds please do not hesitate to contact us on 017684 83561. Children over 12 years can join these treks, however, they are taken out in consideration of the least capable rider. All sessions in this age group are twenty minutes.
